I love rummaging through flea markets, tag sales, antique malls, and garage sales, any place where I might uncover some treasure, and of course I have several collections to show for it. I don't get the opportunity to go antiqueing much anymore, but I still enjoy it when I can and shop on eBay when I need a real fix. One of the first things I started collecting were bird figurines. Here are some of my favorites:
The little yellow one on the right was my first purchase - I fell in love with her sweet expression and she is still one of my favorites. The white stork and blue bird on the left are Czechoslovakian and cost a little more, at the time around $35 each, but the rest were around $12 to $15 dollars. When I get a chance to photograph them I'll post pictures of some of the other things I collect.
