Home Sweet Home

I'm so glad to be home after a stressful weekend! I missed the blogosphere and seeing all the crafty goodness that everyone has been up to. I totally struck out in my thrift shop adventures but I did get some new fabric and buttons that I'm really happy with. I even got my haircut at one of those walk-in places, something I've never done before. I was so frustrated with my hair one morning before going out to breakfast that I had my 12 year old daughter trim it with the only scissors I had available - Swiss Army knife scissors - while looking over my shoulder with a pocket mirror. I figured if I'm desperate enough to do that then I don't have much to lose by just walking in somewhere. I'm very pleased with the outcome and now I don't have to worry about my hair for another couple of months!
