Meet my four newest kittens: Angus (brown), Babbit (gray), Calamity (khaki), and Diego (blue)! They're from this Japanese craft book (ISBN 4893967835). They are my first foray into any kind of sock animal and it was a lot of fun trying something new :)

Cuties...do you actually own all those japanese craft books on flickr? Wow!

the truth:
While i am very proud that you made the sock kitties, and go new craft areans! REALLY GO GO GO...I must make a confession. For a moment, I though you were naive knitting martha. When we had a bottle of wine and a japanese craft book looking, we started to make said kats, but never finished. I was so excited to see the cats that i wrote a compulsive comment. They are, none the less, adorable. I want to feed them to my dolls!

cassi--are you going to put them in your shop or keep the kitties at home? i have a 3 year old who is OBSESSED with all things cat, but grandma is deathly allergic, so sadly, we settle for stuffed versions for now...

Those are the cutest little kitties. Who would have thought there could be so much personality in a cut-up sock, a couple of buttons, and some thread? Wait, that's where your artistry comes in!
I think I have to buy that book. Are the pictorial instructions very difficult to follow?
