inspiration

I just found your site. What beautiful work and a great idea...
Thanks for sharing. Angie

This is so inspiring! I have - somewhere - the start of such a journal, now I need to unearth it and work on it some more. Thank you so much for sharing.

I do this too. I keep mine in a spiral notebook. You can see one currently on my blog...often these become "treasure maps" and the images will later materialize in my life.

Did you scan your collages for this post? I haven't had great luck photographing mine and could use some advice.

Nice!

these are so inspirational and exactly what i need to do with my enormous stacks of magazines! my husband will be pleased!

hi miss bella dia,I love the collages!I always find it so relaxing to make them.It reminds me of when I was little I guess, when I would just cut and glue away without the stress of having to paint something. But yours look amazing!Real artwork.Bye Desirée

These are beautiful images!
When I was a kid, I took pages out of I don't know how many magazines and wallpapered my whole room!!! And I remember my mom having a cow right there in my doorway when she came to see what I was doing! lol!

ooooo, this is lovely!

Great collages! I really love your blog! it's inspires me!

I do this too! I have a canvas covered with things like this. I like the idea of keep them in a notebook, though. I'll have to get a sketch pad and use it for that!

God bless!
Terri

I love your collages! In HS, I used to cut up magazines and cover my closet doors in collages. I should get back to that. It really is inspirational. Then maybe I could throw out some of the magazines!

I have to say how much I enjoy your blog. I stumbled upon you during the holdiays and have visited daily since. It is such an inspiration! Thanks!

hello bella! I do the same thing for my design work. I keep notebooks with sections(like, organic, ethnic textiles, tints, shades, hues, black and white, modern art, etc) and also notebooks with tear outs from each season from mags, catalogs and ads. My notebooks go back 8 years now, and it's really fun to go back and see how I've seen trends develop. I tore out the same pix of the black rock "path" around the rock ;0). Happy Day! Celeste

I have a decorator and interiour design book about my Dream Home like this one. I just looove cutting out beautiful pictures. Your collages makes me smile, thank you! :-)

Just found your lovely website. I keep my own style files, but yours are so creative and original. Very pretty.

hi!
ok, I'm really dumb... this idea with the collages is great! I think I'll make one for myself with my inspirations... may I?
bye, manela

Very cool! Nice to see you back...

Those are lovely, and I even regognize some of the images that are floating around in my own files.

Could I ask what you use to glue them down? The look much smoother and less warped than mine usually do.

That's so funny - I cut out those bird softies, too, and they are in my inspiration notebook. Very cool.

Oooh, beautiful. I just started expanding into collaging and stumbled upon your blog. Beautiful. Thanks for the inspiration.

Beautiful! and yes they are very inspiring!

ils sont superbes vos collages

I LOVE these Cassie! Especially the top one -- love the rocks and that cute little mod dress.

What great pages for inspiration!
