Inspiration Monday
All of these images are from Marie Claire Idees March 2007 issue. The only place I have found it is in Borders but you may have better luck finding it if you're in a more metropolitan area. This issue seems especially full of stitchery projects. I don't speak French but I enjoy looking at the pictures anyway.
I am really tempted to make an afghan like the one above. That open kind of stitch works up really fast and I think it would be so much fun making the flowers and decorating the blanket afterwards.
I love these delicate handmade dishes. For fun I'm going to try something similar with Sculpey. I can use little dishes to put stuff in - I've always got lots of "stuff" sitting around!
Look at this great idea! The directions on how to make it are in the back of the magazine (in French) but it wouldn't be too difficult to figure this out. This organizer would be especially nice to create a small craft area where space is limited.

Congrats girl!
I'm sure you can easily make that room divider with light plywood, or peg-board. Or any material like that. Just drill hinge here and a hinge there. Hmmm. (I'm basically talking to myself here, hehe)

I'd swap a Marie Claire Idees with anybody interested, for another craft or home decoration magazine of your country (wherever this can be) -- using economy mail it doesn't cost more than getting a subscription, and it's much more fun to do ! there is a special issue about kitchens this Spring 2007, it's for swap on my blog (left column) happy reading to you all, be crafty !

Well done with your tea cosy! I love that crochet blanket too but just know I would over-decorate it afterwards and ruin it, I really am no good with the "less is more" school of thinking!

Congratulations on winning a Softie Award! Your tea cozy is so splendid.
And for anyone in search of this magazine, I bought a subscription through Amazon. It took a while for the first issue to come, but otherwise, no problem.

Oh I have had this issue since last week and have scoured over it about 10 times. I so love that afghan!! And the gypsy caravan is just to die for!!! They have these for rent in France I know but have never stayed in one. I believe I have also seen them in a few British mags. diana
