This is a picture of the thank you gifts and cards that I'm including with all my orders. The little flowers can be used as pins or to decorate a package or another handmade project. Yea for handmade!
In other news, today is my 47th birthday! I told the kids that a perfect day for me would be to sit at the computer all day and play Sims while they brought me tea and rubbed my feet! Although they are willing (sweet kids I have) I'm not able. I have orders to get out and gifts to make and general holiday busy-ness calling my name. I just can't relax when there are so many things to do.

I'm very excited about a new project I'll be sharing with you all for the month of December. As you may or may not know, we do a Christmas book advent here at our house. Each night one of the kids chooses a book from our stack of Christmas stories and we read it together. It's a great time to share old favorites as well as add new ones. This year I'm going to list a book, or two, for each day leading up to Christmas and also a little activity to do with your kids. There will be cooking, crafting, and fun galore! I'll post the book list as I usually do and I'll try and get together a resource list of things you'll need for the crafts etc. in the upcoming week.
Happy Birthday wishes to Jane too, we share a birthday - how cool is that?! And, of course my twin sister who is the best of the best!

Happy Belated Birthday!
Love those little flowers...how stinkin' cute!
With friendship,
Lisa

First Happy Birthday!
Second - I am laughing so hard at your Sims comment. I got hooked on that darn game a couple of years ago. I mean really it's all about the clothes and the hook-ups oh and decorating the house but I was so addicted none-the-less! I am very intrigued with Sims Two but I promised only one regressive obsession at a time (LOL)!

Oh you are just the person I need! Can you recommend me a lovely nativity book for an "old" 4 year old please? His birthday is 25th December and I thought it would be a nice present. Thank you!!

Happy Birthday! I am loving your advent idea and I hope to follow along with you! I finally have my act together enough to do crafts with the kids again and have found that I may be too late ):. We made your darling button flowers last night and I am posting them on my blog as soon as I collect a permalink here so people can see our adorable inspiration.
P.S. Love the flower tags too!

Happy Birthday. I love those little cards...so cute and cheerful. I just checked out your twin sister's blog - very cool. I have twin boys (7) and they go to local public Waldorf school...we've been felting and using premade felt, ala your pincushions and birds. Thanks for all the inspiration.
