Little Miss Pine Cones Go Skiing

I made these three little Pine Cone Girls in between working on other projects and I think I have found a new obsession.
Right now it's all I want to do but, yeah, like that's going to happen. Maybe after Christmas. They are made from pine cones we collected in the fall and each girl is about 2½" tall.

I just made some of these...you're right! They are addicting. Your such a talented lady, love to see all you do!

Aw, the little hats are cute but what tops it off is the way they frame their Little People-esque faces! Too adorable!

You really are amazing. These make me want to grab my skis and a couple of girlfriends and head for the slopes.
Oh, right. I forgot. None of my girlfriends ski. Seems that its always been that way, darn it. All the more reason to need a couple of these wee chicks with sticks in my life.

Oh goodness. I'm aching a little from how sweet they are! Are you going to do a tutorial or give us more details on what materials you used? Please? Sorry if this comment went through twice. . .

They are cute as can be!

Oh My. Super cute. I'm afraid to ask about the hats, are they sewn from bits of knit, or (gulp) actually knit for each wee head?

You really come up with some delightful ideas with these little cuties. Love the use of pinecones. So creative.
Happy holidays!

Too cute. I'd have a hard time working on other things, too! Oh wait, what am I saying? I *am* having a hard time already, and now all I want to do is stare at the computer screen and smile at these girls all day!

their hats are fantastic! I especially like the colors you've chosen for them. And, let me guess, toothpick poles and popsicle stick skis?
