When I was doing research for Petunia's Christmas and Roger Duvoisin, one of the links that came up tied Roger Duvoisin to Three Little Horses as the illustrator. I couldn't believe it - Three Little Horses was one of my sister and I's favorite books from childhood! My mother said that we asked her to read it almost every night. I went straight to Purple House Press and ordered two copies - one for me and one for my sister.
