Onward
I am so glad the weekend is over. The kids had a visit from their father whom they haven't seen in almost two years and we had some big issues to discuss. I feel completely drained emotionally. I can't go into much here but all I have to say is thank goodness for crochet; something to keep my hands busy and my mind focused. It's hard enough dealing with a rational person under these circumstances but throw in a few mental issues and I am once again walking on ice. Sometimes it feels like I've walked through
a giant spiderweb and I'll never get it all off of me.
We came home to new snow on the ground and fresh snow falling from the sky. It didn't last for long but I took some pictures knowing there may not be many snowfalls left.

oy. you sound like a strong person.

That spiderweb metaphor is so apt. I'm sending you lots and lots of positive energy.

I don't comment much...but just wanted to say. Sorry. Hang in there. This too shall pass, and all those other platitudes, that sometimes actually work.

Sending you lots of love and hugs, I can only begin to imagine how stressful your weekend must have been. I also find crochet a fantastic way to unwind and clear my mind after a hectic child-filled day. Hope your week improves!
xx

Well at least you can put it behind you now. And focus on refueling yourself. Much love to you friend.

Beautiful photos...
In terms of the Dad, I hear ya. I hope you're doing okay. I know for myself, knitting (and all the other creative outlets I turn to) have been my SAVIORS this past year. Especially knitting---perhaps it's the right/left brain processing thing but it does really help me in sorting it all out. Take care--
