Robots!

Robots1

I've been working on these robots for about a week - building, gluing, painting, varnishing - and it has been so much fun!  Do you like playing with all the different filters on Photoshop like I do?  I don't know how to do much in Photoshop (another thing on my to-do list) but I love clicking through the various filters and oohing and aahing over the different looks.  I thought the robots look like vintage toys in this photo.

Robots3

Here they are under normal conditions.  I haven't given them names yet because I am so name-giving challenged (see, I can't even think of a name for my short coming, good grief!) so I am open to suggestions.  Hopefully I'll have some of these guys and a few other new things I've been working on for sale in the shop fairly soon.

I love to play with Photoshop too, but I am really bad at it. You seem to play with it quite good.
Your robots are cute cute cute, and about their names, what about Bit and Bot?
(I am having a nephew and I am thinking on doing him things with robots, no doubt, you will be one of my inspirations)

These robots are BEYOND fabulous!!! I am absolutely in love with them :)

Oh my goodness, I love them! And the phorographs are fantastic. We made some robots inspired by the book "Spoolcraft" but they don't look nearly as gorgeous -- more homemade than handmade :).

those. are. amazing. That doggie is too sweet.

They are cool!
I look often in your other blog, I work with children and in that blog I found much ideas for my work.
In my blog I collect works, which I´ve made with "my" children and youngster.

Wow, they are so cool and sweet. I liked the "brownish" photoshop version of them, make them look vintage, yay.

am loving your robots...
so very very charming....

These are sheer Genius! Love them!

that dog is too groovy cool .... well done .... and i'm thinking that being naming something challenged might be a short coming that would be easy to live with!!! unless you have like, twelve kids or something ....

So cute! When you learn how to use Photoshop could you tell me too please ;)

they're all adorable but favorite has to be the robot dog

Those are very cute! I can't wait to see what you come up with for the shop.

I Looooooooove the "vintage" look on the robot photo!

Those are SO awesome. You should make them your header!

Love that you used the cheese grater for background. Didn't quite know what it was in the first pic...very industrial looking. Very creative indeed!

Oh my those are adorable. The puppy is to die for!!

These are so fantastic!!

way too cute

those are adorable!

They are really cute.

I have named them. The robots should be Ratchet and Clank and the little dog should be Toot.

They are positivly brilliant!

They're lovely!

Those are completely fabulous!! the little robot dog is so cute...

They are adorable!!
Yes, I too love playing with Photoshop filters. Which filter/s did you use to obtain the "vintage toy" effect? Looks cool!

So cute! LOVE the top picture!!
