In the spirit of Earth Day, all week I'll be featuring crafts that can be made from items in your recycling bin so today I have egg carton crafts! Later this week will be ideas for boxes, cardboard tubes, newspaper and some miscellaneous. Remember to add pictures of your creations to The Crafty Crow Flickr group so everyone can see how
brilliant you are!

years ago, I found a pattern for and made a large picture of a peacock, made completely of egg cartons and styrofoam meat trays. I would love to find that pattern again if anyone has knowledge of this please let me know. many thanks. Dot

Great ideas! We are going to be making a bug mobile with our egg cartons. http://crafts.kaboose.com/egg-carton-buggy-mobile.html
I am trying to save them up right now. :)

I've always felt it such a waste to just recycle those wonderful little eggy pockets, but I worry about the salmonella germs on the cartons? Am I just totally paranoid?
Anyway, I love the dump truck. So funny!

Okay, I am LOVING these options, particularly the first wreath. I bet my big dd would love the doll furniture too. Thanks!
