Dried Apple Slices

As things are warming up here (I'm in Idaho), we are starting to plan our river outings and easy picnic food to take with us.  I think Salt and Chocolate's dried apple slices sound perfect so we'll be giving them a try soon!

Soft Patchwork Balls

I love clear contact paper for kids projects - so many possibilities!  One to start with are collages and What Knot has her method here.  I like how she cuts the contact paper in the size she wants before the kids begin so they will fit perfectly into a waiting frame.
