I am just nuts for this new crochet book I got. I swear I could feel my brain synapses start popping as soon as I started flipping through the pages! It's called 200 Crochet Blocks: For Blankets, Throws, and Afghans by Jan Eaton. By using a variety of different crochet blocks in different color combinations you can create the coolest looking crocheted quilts. I love her color choices and her mix of styles from traditional to
very modern.
Each block has a picture and instructions on how to make it. Here are some of my favorites but it was so hard to choose because they are all wonderful.
I'm going to have to find a better yarn resource. I want the same kind of yarn in a multitude of colors - if all the blocks are worked with the same weight/size yarn and the same size hook then they can easily be put together later. If anyone has some suggestions please let me know :)
